Georgi Gulkanyan

Was born in on October 23, 1949
Studied and graduated from YSU Faculty of Law.
Has more than 50 years of experience.
Served in the USSR Armed Forces (Baltic Military District).
Has worked in the Prosecutor’s Office for more than 20 years, including the Chief of the Investigative Department of the Department for the Prevention and Investigation of the Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Armenia, the Deputy Prosecutor of Yerevan, the Spandaryan District Prosecutor.
Studied in Moscow (Institute for Senior Employees of the USSR Prosecutor’s Office).
First Class Justice Advisor.
Established and led the International Union of Armenian Lawyers.
Was elected deputy of the Catholicos of All Armenians and participated in the election of His Holiness Karekin I.
Held senior positions at the Ministry of Communication and Transport of the Republic of Armenia, in the Kentron community administration
Has led the Word Lerning (World Learning) violence program for nearly two years.
Co-chair of the Committee for Cultural Relations of Armenia-Iraq.
Was elected as a member of the Board of the Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia.
Has worked in the RA National Assembly Presidium.
Has worked in the Control Chamber as the head of the department.
Was a member of the Conditional Early Release Committee.
Is an academician at the Armenian Academy of Technological Sciences.
Has always been active in various events, including the Artsakh war.
